Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common condition as men get older. As the prostate enlarges, it can affect the way the bladder and urinary system function.
Common symptoms include:• Frequent urination, particularly at night• Weak or reduced urine flow• Difficulty starting urination• Urinary urgency• A feeling of incomplete bladder emptying• Intermittent or prolonged urination.
Treatment is not one-size-fits-all. Depending on the severity of symptoms, prostate size, urinary flow, bladder function and individual needs, treatment options may range from lifestyle measures and medications to minimally invasive and laser procedures.

很多男性平时并不会特别留意自己的前列腺，直到排尿开始出现变化——尿流变慢、变细、夜尿增多、排尿断断续续，或总觉得尿不干净。这时候才发现，原来前列腺健康，真的与日常生活品质息息相关。
良性前列腺增生（BPH）—随着年龄增长越来越常见，但排尿症状并不应该简单地被视为“年纪大了的正常现象”。从生活方式调整、药物治疗，到现代微创及激光手术，治疗的重点从来不是寻找所谓“最好”的一种方法，而是根据每个人的情况，选择最合适的治疗方案。在临床上，我通常会综合评估症状严重程度、前列腺体积、尿流情况、膀胱功能、整体健康状况以及患者本身的期望与需求，再与患者一起讨论合适的治疗选择。了解前列腺，是男性健康的重要一课。
